Yes. Once models and a valid entitlement are provisioned, core work can continue with the internet unplugged, subject to the applicable entitlement or roaming-grace window. Models can come from your organization server or, where allowed, an external model host.

Work content is stored on employee devices or the organization server. Network-request metadata for licensing, downloads, and the public website may be processed by the relevant service providers.

Three: Organization Server (desktop clients check out a seat over your network, sync a shared knowledge base and official documents, and an administrator runs everything from a console), Team (each device activates directly, no server required), and Personal (a single device, activated directly). Every edition ships the complete desktop app and runs the AI on the desktop itself. Organization Server adds the server-side control plane: Active Directory sign-in, an audit log, scheduled backup and restore, usage figures, device and seat management, and a model cache for your network.

Sanad runs on Windows PCs and is designed for ordinary office machines. 16 GB of memory gives a comfortable experience. 8 GB works, but answers take noticeably longer on a machine that size. A GPU is not required and helps where one is present. Sanad checks the hardware during setup and tells you what to expect. Organizations that want fast answers on modest desktops can run the model on the server instead of on each PC.

Yes. Organization licences include an offline grace window: a device that has recently connected to the org server keeps working away from the network for a set period, then renews automatically the next time it reconnects.

Yes. Alongside the knowledge base the AI answers from, an administrator can publish official documents — forms, manuals, signed originals — in any file type. Every desktop keeps its own copy, so staff open them in Word, Excel or a PDF reader even with the network unplugged. These are kept separate from the material used for answers and are never quoted in one. Who can see which documents follows the same permissions as the knowledge base, so an HR form is as restricted as an HR policy. Organization Server edition.
