No. The AI model, the document parsing, and the search all run locally on your own machine. When you ask about a document, that document is read on the spot — it is never uploaded to us or anyone else.

The only thing our servers ever learn is when a licence was last renewed or checked. Your questions, documents, and answers stay on your hardware and are never sent to us.

Yes. Once it is set up with its AI models — which install from your organization's own server or, where allowed, the internet — Sanad keeps working with the internet unplugged: during an outage, on an isolated network, or in a building with poor connectivity. The AI lives on the computer itself.

Wherever your computers are. Because nothing is transmitted for processing, your data stays in Oman by default — there is no foreign server in the loop to worry about.

Three: Organization Server (the AI runs on hardware you host and desktop clients check out a seat over your network), Team (each device activates directly, no server required), and Personal (a single device, activated directly). Sanad runs on Windows PCs and is designed for ordinary office machines. 16 GB of memory gives a comfortable experience. 8 GB works, but answers take noticeably longer on a machine that size. A GPU is not required and helps where one is present. Sanad checks the hardware during setup and tells you what to expect. Organizations that want fast answers on modest desktops can run the model on the server instead of on each PC.

Yes. Organization licences include an offline grace window: a device that has recently connected to the org server keeps working away from the network for a set period, then renews automatically the next time it reconnects.

Yes. Alongside the knowledge base the AI answers from, an administrator can publish official documents — forms, manuals, signed originals — in any file type. Every desktop keeps its own copy, so staff open them in Word, Excel or a PDF reader even with the network unplugged. These are kept separate from the material used for answers and are never quoted in one. Who can see which documents follows the same permissions as the knowledge base, so an HR form is as restricted as an HR policy. Organization Server edition.
