The rules for using Sanad and buying a licence, in plain language.
Last updated: 4 October 2026
1. Who we are
Sanad is operated by Mubarik Alhasani, an individual based in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman ("we", "us"). By installing Sanad, activating a licence or buying one, you agree to these terms. If you buy for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept them on its behalf.
2. Your licence
A licence lets you install and use Sanad for as long as it is active. You are buying the right to use the software, not the software itself.
- Personal: one device.
- Team: the number of seats you paid for; each activated device uses one seat.
- Organization Server: sold by quotation; the order you sign sets its terms, together with these.
3. What you may not do
- Share, resell or publish your serial number, or use one licence on more devices than it covers.
- Work around the licence checks or modify the application to remove them.
- Reverse engineer the application, except where the law allows it.
- Use Sanad for anything unlawful.
4. Activation and devices
Activating a licence needs an internet connection. After that, the application checks its licence about once a day when it is online. A device that stays offline for too long, a month or more, stops working until it connects again.
A Team or Personal device that has not connected for 45 days gives its seat back automatically, so a retired computer does not hold a seat for ever. If that device returns, it takes its seat back when one is free.
5. Buying a licence
Online purchase is not open yet. Until it opens, you buy a Personal or Team licence by emailing support@sanadhq.app: we send you a written quote, and the price and payment it states apply, together with these terms.
When online purchase opens, orders placed online are processed by our reseller, Lemon Squeezy, who is the merchant of record: they charge your card, issue your receipt and handle sales tax. Prices are charged in US dollars; amounts shown in Omani rial are approximate, and your bank may add its own fee for a foreign-currency payment. Tax is added at checkout where it applies.
Your serial number is emailed to you as soon as the payment is confirmed.
6. Renewal and cancellation
Online licences are yearly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Each renewal extends the same serial number by one year, so your devices keep working without activating again. You can cancel at any time; your licence then runs to the end of the year you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
A licence bought by quote runs for the period the quote states and does not renew automatically.
7. Your documents and content
Sanad processes your documents, chats, meetings and notes on your own computer, or on your organization's server if you use the Organization Server. The application does not send that content to us, and you keep all rights to it. You are responsible for having the right to use the documents you add.
8. AI answers
Sanad's answers are generated by an AI model and can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, even when they cite a source. Check important answers against the cited document. Sanad is not a substitute for legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.
9. Updates and support
We publish updates from time to time, and the application tells you when one is available. Support is by email at support@sanadhq.app.
10. Suspension and ending a licence
We may suspend or cancel a licence that breaks these terms, that is refunded, or whose payment is disputed with a bank. Where the breach can be fixed, we will tell you first and give you reasonable time to fix it.
11. Warranty and liability
Sanad is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be error-free or suit a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, and the courts of Muscat have jurisdiction over any dispute.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. For material changes we will email licence holders before the change takes effect.
